Are you ready for adventure? Do you want to feel for a while like a modern castaway, stranded on a desert island? Then come along to the island of Chrissi.

Chrissi is a paradise on earth, the southernmost natural park of Europe, a gem in the Mediterranean.

Πρόγραμμα

Our adventure starts in the beautiful city of Ierapetra, our first stop, which is located on the southern coast of the island.

From here, a short boat trip takes us to the secluded island of Chrissi. During the journey, we are often accompanied by yellow-legged gulls and dolphins that enjoy the magic of the Libyan Sea, until we finally drop anchor to the “Island”, as the locals are used to calling it.

Chrissi is a secluded, isolated, almost tropical island on the most southern end of Crete. The peacefulness of this unique ecosystem are bound to steal your heart and make you daydream.

This amazing island is in fact a huge sand hill, one third of which is covered with a Juniperous forest, protected under Greek and European laws as a preserve for these rare trees.

The unbelievable clear turquoise waters will entice you in for a dip and, believe us, you you won’t want to get out. If you are after a glowing, golden suntan, this is the perfect place to get it.! 

You will have several hours for swimming, snorkeling and sunbathing. Relax and enjoy  your day.

This place is a piece of paradise. Chrissi is situated in the south part of Crete. Incredible natural beauty and important ecosystem, it has been included in the European initiative NATURA 2000. 

It has an area of 4,743 square kilometers, and a maximum altitude of 27 meters. It’s an islet known for its exotic waters in all the shades of blue and green, the golden beaches (where it got its name from), and the protected forest with the cedar trees, which are over 200 years old.
