Day Tour from Athens to Mycenae Civilization & Nafplio.

After a short stop, head to the archaeological site of one of the greatest ancient civilizations in the world. Once at Mycenae, you will be totally blown away by the monumental ruins that beautifully blend with the surrounding landscape.

On this tour we will visit the old town with its many narrow winding streets, the main sights and attractions, "Acronauplia" ( the part of Nafplion perched on high) and also get to know more about the importance of Nafplion in Greek history and of two of the main protagonists of Greece's War of Independence: Ioannis Kapodistrias and Theodoros Kolokotronis.

Before setting off to the beautiful town of Nafplio, stop for a pottery workshop. Here, the children can use their imagination to travel back to the Mycenaean times and create artefacts inspired by their visit to Mycenae which they can also take home with them.

Once you reach the picturesque town of Nafplio, enjoy a delicious lunch at a traditional Greek restaurant. Try traditional sweets.
